- Can I connect an AI-built site to live data?
- Live-data site connections are coming soon. The sales workspace is a preview concept with sample data. Today you can connect compatible AI clients to permitted databases and published saved queries.
- What access does my AI get?
- Your permissions determine access. You can grant database access for exploration, or share a published saved query without granting general access to its database. Existing database permissions still apply alongside saved-query grants.
- Which databases support saved queries?
- Saved queries currently require a direct PostgreSQL connection. Connector-routed databases and MySQL are not supported by saved queries yet.
- Can I start free?
- Yes. The free plan has no monthly charge and includes one seat, one connector, two sources, and five published surfaces. A seat is a person enabled for MCP access.
- Does a subscription include AI usage?
- These prices describe access plans. Features that use paid AI services can incur usage charges. Review your organization's billing settings and your AI provider's terms before running paid work.
- Where does query data go?
- Results pass through Gentility to your AI client. Query logs can contain SQL, inputs, and result samples. Your client and model provider also process the content you send them. See the homepage data path and our privacy policy.
- Can I self-host?
- The connector runs on your infrastructure. Gentility's service is hosted by us; installing a connector does not self-host the service. Contact us to discuss deployment requirements.
- Which AI clients can connect?
- Use an MCP client that supports remote HTTP servers and OAuth. Availability and setup depend on the client and your organization's settings.
